Mr. Lee’s practice focuses on patent prosecution and strategic intellectual property counseling, primarily in the fields of electronics and computer software. He has prepared and prosecuted patent applications in a wide range of technology areas including Internet-based software and services, database systems, networking hardware and software, computer graphics, and consumer electronic devices. Mr. Lee is also experienced in performing due diligence studies and analyses for patent infringement and invalidity.
Prior to joining the legal profession, Mr. Lee worked for several years as a software engineer at Oracle Corporation. During his time at Oracle, Mr. Lee gained significant technical expertise and experience with large-scale, distributed software systems, such as enterprise-class resource planning applications (e.g., project managment, supply chain management, finance/accounting, etc.) and other types of information management software. Mr. Lee has also held engineering positions at Sun Microsystems, Inc. and Goldman Sachs.
